Description
ROS/AC 10 is a treatment emulsion with 10% azelaic acid, formulated to help even out skin tone and soothe skin prone to redness and acne.

In addition to azelaic acid, ROS/AC 10 contains ectoine and Cica active components, including madecassic and asiatic acid, which further protect and restore the skin.
Azelaic acid is a natural compound known for its strong anti-inflammatory effect. It soothes redness and helps reduce blemishes, making it an ideal ingredient for sensitive skin prone to inflammation and redness. The combination of azelaic acid, ectoine, and Cica ingredients in the ROS/AC 10 emulsion provides comprehensive care: it supports the barrier function and increases the skin's long-term resistance to external irritants.
Skin adaptation to azelaic acid:
When getting used to products with azelaic acid, mild discomfort may be felt, which is a transient side effect of this ingredient and occurs in sensitive skin during the adjustment period. It is not expected that the skin will become more intensely red from this ingredient, as it is not a true irritation, but some skins are more sensitive to the action of this ingredient. This property increases when azelaic acid is used on damp skin due to the higher permeability of moist skin, which is why it is extremely important that the skin is completely dry at the time of application.
Azelaic acid can dry out the skin. We recommend applying it on sensitive skin after a neutral moisturizer has fully absorbed to alleviate discomfort. After the skin adapts to this ingredient, all unpleasant symptoms are expected to disappear, and full results are seen after 8-12 weeks of use.
